Buttock Lift

The buttocks are closely linked to sensuality and sex appeal. Many men and women consider the buttocks – right after the breasts – to be the most attractive part of the female figure.

Buttock shaping is a procedure that has seen a rapid rise in popularity in recent years.

A healthy diet and targeted exercise can firm the buttocks to some extent, but unfortunately they cannot reshape them as effectively as surgery can.

Nutrition alone cannot change genetically determined fat distribution (pear, apple, banana body shape, etc.).

For reshaping we use liposuction, fat grafting, surgical correction of loose skin and, in some cases, implants.

By combining fat transfer with liposuction, we can achieve a long-lasting and natural result.

A thorough preoperative consultation and discussion of your wishes and options are essential when planning the procedure. Before surgery we will also talk about the extent of the procedure and the expected scarring.

The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and usually takes 2–3 hours.

On the first day after surgery, the patient recovers at the clinic. During this time, our professional staff will ensure a comfortable stay in a private suite. You will be discharged with detailed postoperative instructions.

Recovery takes approximately 3–6 weeks, depending on the scope of the procedure.

For two weeks after surgery we advise against sleeping on the buttocks and prolonged sitting, and sports activities should be adjusted as well. At work we recommend using an inflatable ring cushion to relieve pressure on the buttocks.

More About the Procedure

The curves and proportions of the female body are particularly highlighted and admired when viewed from the back — across the spine, hips and buttocks. This region is closely associated with sex appeal and, according to many men and women, is one of the most attractive parts of the female figure. An hourglass silhouette, a graceful arch where the lower back flows into the buttocks, a harmoniously projected buttock and a smooth transition into the legs represent the beauty ideal most women aspire to.

An attractive back follows the lines of the paraspinal muscles and flows into the buttocks, whose shape is defined primarily by the gluteal muscles — key to the desired projection. By sculpting fat deposits we can further enhance these curves: we can reduce fat in the lower back and hip region and transfer it into the buttocks. We can also emphasize or refine the transition from the waist to the hips. In cases of pronounced skin laxity and tissue sagging, excess skin can be surgically removed with a buttock lift, which leaves a scar positioned within the underwear line.

We harvest your own fat with liposuction from areas where there is sufficient volume or where we are simultaneously performing liposuction to contour the body. The procedure is typically performed in women, but it is not suitable for women or men who do not have enough fat tissue.

How Long Do the Results Last?

A small portion of the transferred fat is broken down by the body in the first few months after the procedure. Typically, about 60–80% of the grafted fat survives. After a few months, the patient can see the final result, which is long-lasting. It is important to note that the transferred fat cells behave like natural tissue and are therefore affected by ageing, gravity and fluctuations in body weight.

What Is the Most Natural Method for a Buttock Lift?

The combination of liposuction and fat grafting is the most natural and refined method for shaping the buttocks. In many cases, simply removing certain fat deposits is enough to accentuate a more attractive contour. By adding your own fat we can further highlight the key curves that make the buttocks look more balanced, lifted and appealing.
